Purpose

The Bozeman Police Foundation provides a method for donors to make contributions toward specific programs, events, and items that will allow the Bozeman Police Department to operate more efficiently or that enhances public
safety.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation that operates for public safety and educational purposes, providing assistance to the Bozeman Police Department where the City budget falls short.

Our Goals:

The Bozeman Police Foundation is an independent, non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to fostering public safety through community building, education, and outreach.
To provide a safe method for donors to make contributions toward specific programs, events & items needed by Bozeman Police Department.
To provide stewardship for an effective and efficient method to distribute donated funds in a manner that will allow the Bozeman Police Department to operate more efficiently.
To provide for the development and implementation of public safety and crime prevention programs and to afford an opportunity for the citizens of Bozeman to become more involved in public safety.
To provide for the advancement of the Bozeman Police Department and/or employee(s) through specialized training opportunities that help enhance the relationship between the community and the Department.
To provide for the recognition of the Bozeman Police Department employee(s) committed to building community partnerships.
To provide for the advanced education of current or retired Bozeman Police Department employees and/or their children through the Bozeman Police Foundation Scholarship to recognize and reward outstanding employees and students to help mitigate their financial burden.
